Estate Office Manager
Farm Secretary & Personal Assistant

Two exciting and challenging opportunities have arisen for an Estate
Office Manager and a Farm Secretary & Personal Assistant within a
large diversified rural estate. It is a progressive, secure business with
a dedicated and committed team.

The chosen candidates will be experienced administrators, with
good communication and organisational skills. They will be able
to take on responsibility, show initiative and pay close attention
to detail. There will be involvement in all aspects of the business,
working closely with the Estate Factor, Directors and other members
of the team.

Duties will be shared between the two positions and will include, but are not limited to:

·         devising and maintaining office systems, including data management,analysis and filing;

·         arranging travel and accommodation.

·         screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate;

·         meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority;

·         organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments;

·         dealing with incoming email, and post, often corresponding on behalf of the manager;

·         carrying out research and presenting findings;

·         producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations;

·         organising and attending meetings and ensuring the Estate Factor is well prepared for meetings.

·         liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff.

·         Reviewing and updating health and safety and training documentation

·         responsibility for accounts and budgets, data entry to Farm and Estate Software and detailed spreadsheets.

·         Maintaining stock records and assiting with stock counts, pricing and reordering

·         Responsibility for rental properties including viewings, rental agreements and rent collection 


Honest, Hardworking and Helpful

·         Previous experience of accounting software and office administrative work would be essential, though training will be given

·         Excellent IT and communication skills

·         A flexible approach to work and changing priorities

·         Drive


Remuneration commensurate with experience.
